The two are distinct entities that harmoniously share objectives. This website doesn't belong to the Association, per se, but for all practical purposes it can certainly be considered as such.
The Association publishes a periodic newsletter "The Happy Warrior," which is mailed to all its members. It hosts reunions for all 492nd veterans, which is attracting more and more first and second generation families of the vets.
Willis (Bill) Beasley is the President of the association and his wife Norma serves as Editor of the "Happy Warrior." They are also in charge of memberships.
