Cravens Crew R-24 (720) Summary

The Cravens Replacement Crew arrived at North Pickenham during June. After a little in-house training they were assigned, on 3 Jul 44, to the 857th BS, designated as Crew 720. Their orders coming in had them short one enlisted man. At present we don't know who filled the vacant spot.

According to our initial count the Cravens Crew flew 10 missions for the 492nd. We aren't sure exactly who was on each of these missions.

|
The Crew transferred to the 44th BG on 10 Aug 44. There are two men on the transfer order that didn't come in with the crew as well as an extra co-pilot.
