I just found an error on our mission pages that, frankly, has me both embarrassed and baffled. It's in regard to Politz, the place so nice they bombed it twice! Seems I placed one of those missions in Germany and the other in Poland. Ouch!

The Arizona Liberator Group has the simplest of goals: meet once a year in the spring, somewhere convenient to an airport where the Collings B-24 would be, and do lunch. It's time to do it again.

My film production crew and I flew aboard the Collings Foundation's B-24 Liberator from Arlington to Love Field last week and got some excellent footage. What a trip!

The Arizona Liberator Group was formed by B-24 veterans in the Phoenix area that met each other when the Collings Foundation's aircraft would come to town.

They've been meeting regularly for the last 18 years just to do lunch. Today was that time again!
